Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, PILfont text-width accumulation in src/_imaging.c checks positive glyph advances against INT_MAX but does not check negative advances against INT_MIN. Repeating a signed 16-bit advance of -32768 can therefore execute a signed C integer overflow in xsize += dx, producing a large positive width from a negative mathematical result. Applications that use getlength(), getsize(), or derived layout, quota, serialization, or allocation calculations can experience logic-integrity errors or resource consumption, while the high-level mask path commonly retains a decompression-bomb check. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0 on Windows, src/PIL/WmfImagePlugin.py passes unchecked 32-bit WMF or EMF dimensions to the native drawwmf handler in src/display.c. The handler sizes a DIB allocation from 16-bit-truncated bcWidth and bcHeight fields but copies pixel data using the original full dimensions. A crafted wide, short metafile can pass the pixel-count decompression-bomb check and make the Windows-only renderer read beyond the heap buffer, potentially disclosing memory or crashing the process. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 11.0.0 until 13.0.0, multi-frame loaders can retain an ImagingCore allocation created for a narrow frame mode while a later frame of the same dimensions changes the logical mode and decoder tiles to wider RGB or CMYK data. ImageFile.load_prepare() reuses the stale native storage because _im is non-null without verifying that its mode and size still match. Crafted PSD, MPO, DCX, or MIC frame transitions can then write wider pixels into the narrow allocation, causing native out-of-bounds writes and crashes. The MPO path can also cause a native over-read and, in demonstrated runtime-specific profiles, command execution. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, MpoImageFile.seek() and DcxImageFile.seek() reparse later MPO or DCX frames and replace self._size without rerunning Image._decompression_bomb_check(). A crafted multi-frame image can use a tiny first frame to pass Image.open() and then declare an over-limit later frame. Normal frame iteration through seek(), load(), or ImageSequence.Iterator can decode that frame and commit hundreds of megabytes or more, causing memory-exhaustion denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, SpiderImageFile.seek() in src/PIL/SpiderImagePlugin.py reparses a later SPIDER stack frame and replaces self._size without rerunning Image._decompression_bomb_check(). A tiny file can use a safe first frame to pass Image.open() and then declare very large dimensions in a later mode F frame. Loading that frame allocates approximately four bytes per attacker-declared pixel and can consume multiple gigabytes of memory. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
PHP has various global state that temporarily points into request memory. In some scenarios, global state may not be correctly reset, or may be repopulated after being reset. The global state may then refer to request memory even after it has been freed. Subsequent requests may read or branch on this stale state before it is fully initialized. Multiple strategies can trigger this condition and produce remote code execution (RCE).
PHP uses longjmp() for out-of-memory (OOM) errors to exit the current context and abort handling of the request. Some contexts may not properly account for this scenario and leave request memory in an uninitialized state before performing an allocation. The subsequent request cleanup procedure may read or branch on this memory. Multiple OOM strategies can consistently trigger this condition and lead to remote code execution (RCE).
Trudesk through 1.2.11 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows administrators to delete arbitrary files by supplying encoded traversal sequences to DELETE /api/v1/backup/:backup. Attackers can also pass unvalidated file values to POST /api/v1/backup/restore to restore archives from, or extract to, paths outside the intended directories.
Trudesk through 1.2.11 contains a missing authentication vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to download private ticket attachments under /uploads. Because express.static serves the public/ directory before the hasAuth-guarded /uploads mount, attackers who know or guess a ticket ObjectId and filename can retrieve confidential attachments.
Trudesk through 1.2.11 contains a regular expression injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate usernames by submitting regex patterns to POST /api/v1/login. Attackers can send alternations or prefixes like (admin|root) or a.* and distinguish 'Invalid User' from 'Invalid Password' responses to discover valid accounts.
